Speranza's Salon: An Online Event

October 16th at 9pm

In celebration of Oscar's 170th Birthday, join us here for Speranza's Salon. Oscar’s mother’s famous weekly gatherings of musicians, politicians and poets at One Merrion Square were famous across the 20 years or more the Wildes lived here.  Sample what it was like to be at one of these events with our online spectacular - Speranza's Salon.

Filmed last year and first broadcast during the inaugural Oscariana Festival, we've brought it back by popular demand.  You'll be able to see inside the house and be taken on a historic journey, meeting artists, musicians and poets of today, performing in the very rooms where the original salons took place between 1855 and 1876.
